My name is Mel and I created Sustain Health & Lifestyle Coaching to help as many people as possible on their nutrition, fitness and wellness journey.
Throughout my school and teenage years, I struggled with my own weight, yo-yo 'ing my way through all the usual insecurities and resulting fad diets!
Naturally having this back story helps me empathise, understand and coach through the struggles that people can often go through with their own weight and self-image.

I have been interested in health, fitness and nutrition for over 30 years now.
I have a vast education, and scientific grounding in the physiology and nutrition space, having studied this at university obtaining a BSc in the subject.
I played many sports throughout school and university, which has provided me with a great grounding to help others enjoy the same.
I have a keen interest in martial arts having done Thai boxing as well as boxing competitively which means I am no stranger to challenging training styles.
I'm here to empower you with over a decade of coaching experience, helping you to achieve the results you've always desired.
